Under minimal supervision is responsible for the design, writing, editing and re-writing of procedure manuals, operational process specifications and related publications to communicate instructions to a wide range of audiences. Acquires or verifies knowledge of subject matter by interviewing workers or software experts, observing performance of methods and/or referring to technical or regulatory documentation. In addition, this position will assist in the delivery of training modules that assist in developing the operational skills of both management and staff in areas such as Claims, Customer Service, Enrollment and Provider Relations etc.
Bachelors or Associate Degree in education, communications, organizational development, or related field preferred or equivalent experience in managed care operations.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe, MS Word, and SnagIt
HTML and Online Help a plus
Quick learner with high degree of technical proficiency
Excellent research skills and resourcefulness, ability to dig in and find information that is needed
Impeccable attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, communications, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

D. Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:
Certifications as required to administer select training programs and assessment instruments.
E. Work Experience:
Requires one to three years of progressively responsible work-related experience. Professional writing, editing and/or publication experience along with training and development experience to include training design and delivery and needs assessment and analysis.
F. Machines, Tools, Equipment:
Must operate PC, general office and AV equipment.
