The Moberly Monitor-Index, a twice-weekly publication, has an opening for a sports editor who can direct our sports coverage.

The perfect candidate will understand that sports coverage is more than reporting wins and losses and building relationships in the community. The sports editor will be responsible for the planning of coverage for four high schools and a junior college and is the newspaper's primary sports writer and photographer.

Some experience is preferred, but recent graduates with excellent writing and photography skills are welcome to apply.
