Job Description

Goal Solutions is looking for an SEO/Digital Content Writer to join the growing team. The SEO Content Writer will develop unique content for the Ascent website and other digital channels with SEO recommendations.

We are looking for a SEO/Digital Content Writer to join our growing team. The SEO Content Writer will develop unique content for the Ascent website and other digital channels with SEO recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the marketing team as well as outside agencies to execute our keyword strategy and optimize content across the Ascent websites and other digital channels
  • Develop compelling, educational content for the Ascent websites and other digital channels that are engaging (creating more time spent on the site) and sharable while following SEO best practices
  • Regularly audit and optimize existing content on the Ascent websites based on top branded keywords to improve organic search rankings
  • Conceptualize and brainstorm blog topics to develop engaging material for content demand
  • Conduct regular informed keyword and competitor research, and use SEO industry best practices to create strategic content outlines
  • Stay up-to-date on the industry and recommend content that is fresh to our target audiences
  • Collaborate with team members and agencies to work through revisions efficiently as requested
  • Establish metrics and measurement plans to monitor key performance indicators and present results monthly to key stakeholders
  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager and agencies to execute and improve link building strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, communications, or equivalent major
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional writing experience
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Research, and PowerPoint is required
  • Experience in WordPress or other website management tools is a plus
  • Experience in SEMRush or other keyword analysis tools is a plus
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally and communicating to all levels of the organization
