Life is looking for a Spanish/English bilingual editor to join our team! The senior editor will have experience developing content with broad appeal in the financial, physical, and mental wellness space. The ideal candidate will have depth of knowledge in one or more of those areas. This will be a contract role to start, with the potential for a full-time hire at a later date.

Role overview

This role will be responsible for helping Life build our Spanish-language operation. You will work closely with the Content Director to oversee the development of health, mental health, and personal finance content for an Argentinian audience. This will include: Overseeing translation of the current Life content library into Spanish, as well as developing new pieces of content to serve users of our digital rewards platform in Argentina. Candidates must have experience working with translation, as well as assigning/editing short-form original content. Preferred candidates will have experience developing strategies for in-app content and/or visual editing.

Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on experience developing short-form content, including conceptualizing, assigning, and editing.
• Excellent writer/editor and effective communicator who is process-oriented.
• Native Speaker of Spanish and proficiency in English with a deep knowledge of Argentina’s culture.
• Has a network of contract writers, translators, and editorial professionals and/or experience recruiting and managing a team to execute on regularly scheduled editorial programming.
