Job Description

Product Marketing Alliance is looking for a Senior Content Writer (Developer Marketing) to join the team.

When it comes to digital communities, we're leading the way. From product marketing to sales enablement to SaaS to customer success (and more), we've built and grown global communities from scratch, and now we're on an unstoppable mission to scale them - at pace.

We’re constantly expanding our portfolio of communities and next, we’re going for global domination with our Development Marketing and Community-Led communities (meta, we know!).

Our communities live and breathe content and we need the ultimate wordsmith to come in, take these two communities by the neck, and help build their content foundations from the ground up.

If you’re passionate about words, oozing with ideas, and love just getting stuck in, you may well be made for this role.

What’s You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Building and owning the content strategies for both websites.
  • Executing on the blogs, reports, podcasts, socials, etc. included in said strategies.
  • Understanding and translating technical topics into uber engaging and authoritative copy.
  • Reporting on and analyzing all our content-related data.
  • Leading projects from scratch with little supervision, and taking the initiative to problem solve.
  • Having a close handle on the competitive landscape and coming up with creative ideas and strategies to keep your communities three steps ahead.
  • Connecting the dots between content and commercial.
  • Being hot on the pulse of content best practices - period. And being proactive in sharing and incorporating them into our own strategies.
  • Collaborating with design and having a keen eye for what aesthetically works alongside copy.

Skills You Won’t Survive Without

  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and ability to manage internal and external dependencies.
  • Strong practical understanding of:
    • SEO, Paid (PPC and social), Email, Sales pages
  • Strong understanding of conversion best practices - what words and language entice people to buy? Where should CTAs be placed to encourage click-through? What type of copy encourages people to trust us.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Be able to work confidently work independently when needed.
  • Concise communication and an internal advocate for the importance of content.


From £29,000.00 annual basic salary
