Job Description

The QC Editor expertly edits documents per client/Synchrogenix specifications, templates, style guides, and other guidance documents.


- Expertly edits documents per client specifications, templates, style guides, and other guidance documents based on expectations provided during QC training
- Performs quality control review, including verification of document against source, verification of internal consistency, verification of grammar based on understanding of grammar rules

Education, Experience, Training, and Knowledge

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, scientific discipline or related field with an interest in regulatory writing
- ELS certification desired, but not required
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and Microsoft Word functionality in terms of editing tools, creating and modifying tables and inserting figures
- 0-3 years of prior related experience; highly skilled, talented, and motivated candidates will be considered
- Proven success in team-based environment

- Understand the fundamental aspects of communication theory and practice
- Communicate clear, concise and relevant information in an appropriate business format
- Ability to synthesize data and present it in a written format
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and be tolerant of some degree of ambiguity, easily build relationships with others
- Is action and detail oriented, always seeking new development opportunities to build knowledge and skills
- Demonstrate solid time management skills
- Show flexibility to meet project needs as required by deadlines and meet corporate goals and objectives
- Maintains high ethical and quality standards as defined in the Employee Manual

Must have the following Technology Requirements

- 64-bit version of Windows 7 and higher 
- 4GB RAM (minimum), 8GB RAM recommended
- ~200MB of Disk Space
- Office 2013 and higher
