Job Brief

We are looking for a Bilingual Marketing and Content Coordinator to help set the vision for content and drive cohesive marketing narratives that touch both the English and French speaking Canadian audience. As a Bilingual Marketing and Content Coordinator at ALAViDA, you write concise, well-crafted messaging that supports a large-scale content strategy. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the marketing team, clinicians, researchers, and other key business stakeholders to write and translate user-focused communication for a smart platform and mobile application — while maintaining ALAViDA’s tone and voice. You’ll help shape how that voice evolves and grows as you help coordinate systems.

This role is a work-from-home opportunity, so we are accepting applications from across Canada (only).

The Responsibilities for This Role Include, but Are Not Limited To

  • Help create customer-facing campaigns and publish engaging content
  • Translate and support quality assurance for French translated copy
  • Coordinate translation of copy in different languages in addition to FR
  • Translate and support quality assurance for French translated copy
  • Coordinate content to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency
  • Support the brand and service voice and make sure all organization can easily understand and use that voice
  • Learn to use the different systems such as Wordpress, Salesforce, among others, that support the digital product
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop resource page content, style, and layout
  • Find user-friendly ways to interact with clients, members and drive engagement

Within the First 30 Days the Coordinator Will Be Expected To

  • Learn the structure and operation of the company and the ALAViDA program
  • Learn the details of our tools and systems
  • Become familiar with the team and establish a routine and schedule of availability
  • Build a strong sense of empathy for your target audience. Who are you writing for?
  • Translate copy to French and become familiar with external team of translators


  • Bilingual (English/French) with experience in copy translation
  • Proven experience as Content/Marketing Coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge of the digital health industry especially in the addiction treatment services an asset
  • Excellent and concise copywriting skills
  • An understanding of branding and general business objectives
  • Ability to condense complex ideas into a concise copy and still make things crystal clear
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • A Designer’s Mindset - should think: “how can this experience be improved?”
  • Strong interpersonal skills that will support different teams (clinical professionals, customer service, operations, etc)
  • Ability to organize, manage, prioritize and multi-task a wide range of assignments with high efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Great attention to detail
  • Passion for helping others
  • Positive attitude to challenge
  • Excellent writing skills in French
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or relevant field
