Are you an experienced non-fiction editor who wants to move in the direction of team leadership? Are you familiar with maintaining style guides and ensuring editorial quality across a team? Do you understand the different levels of editing: developmental, line, and copy? Are you experienced in communicating with writers, particularly writers who are subject experts first and writers second?
We're looking for a full-time lead editor to join our roster! Please note that our full-time positions begin with a six-month contract (1099 if in the US) at the posted hourly rate. After six months, full-time positions convert to a salary (W2 if in the US) equitable to your hourly rate at 40 hours a week. Benefits currently include 5 weeks PTO.
