Sacra (sacra.com) publishes interviews with startup founders, employees and investors. We record the interviews, get them transcribed, and then edit them down into a readable format which we publish to our email list and to our website.
For example, here is an interview with Karim Atiyeh, co-founder/CTO of Ramp: https://sacra.com/research/karim-atiyeh-ramp-expert-interview-card-issuing/.
We're looking to hire a freelance editor to take human-edited transcripts from Rev.com, (1) edit transcription errors (2) remove artifacts of speech and (3) edit for readability.
The #1 challenge of editing these pieces is that many of them have industry or technical jargon. We're looking for someone:
- with some background and enthusiasm for startups, who would enjoy reading and editing interviews on these topics
- who enjoys being a member of a team and actively communicates re progress and timelines
We're looking for someone who can work 10-20 hours per week to start with the potential to grow into a full-time role (if desired). Please email us at email@example.com if you're interested and we will choose a handful of editors to do a paid editing assignment.
