Job Description

Torch is looking for a talented and highly motivated Head of Brand and Content Strategy to join our fast-growing and fast-paced team. They are looking for a creative and collaborative leader to help them articulate the full value of the company's vision and message.

Torch is seeking a talented and highly motivated Head of Brand and Content Strategy to join our rapidly growing and fast-paced team. We are looking for a creative and collaborative leader to help us articulate the full value of our company’s vision and messaging.

This person will be responsible for defining the Torch brand expression and messaging. This leader will drive awareness with innovative owned, earned, and paid brand marketing, sales, and employee enablement. This role will work cross-functionally to develop the Torch vision, messaging, and voice across all internal and external audiences.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate, creative, and strategic leader with a proven track record of elevating B2B brands through tight messaging, narratives, and storytelling. The role will research, synthesize, and evangelize a clear and powerful brand strategy that generates customer engagement, increases relevance, empowers employees, and grows customer adoption, retention, and community advocacy. The right leader is deeply customer-focused and data-driven but is also an out-of-the-box thinker with experience building high-performing teams and driving alignment across the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the planning and development of the company’s global vision, messaging, and strategy across channels and work across company to drive alignment

Build a clear view and understanding of the Torch target customer and positioning of the technology products and tailor all aspects of the marketing program to accurately reflect our product offerings and unique value in the marketplace

Serve as a passionate advocate for the message throughout the enterprise and partner with leaders to ensure underlying principles and value proposition are consistently met and align with customer needs

Partner with all enterprise stakeholders to build go-to-market strategies and content that resonate with prospects, partners and users at every point of their engagement with Torch through visuals, tone, voice, and experience

Own brand and messaging guidelines and collaborate with design and content teams to implement across all communication channelsLead and be accountable for the vision, strategy, and results of company positioning, harmonizing a clear message across all channels (online and off)

Craft an environment and process for messaging to come to life, ensuring campaigns and content are on-brand and optimized for experience

Monitor and cultivate press coverage, brand sentiment shifts, engagement, and overall sales impact

Conduct and analyze internal and external data/research to discover competitive advantages, perceptions, and capitalize on trends

Analyze and report on brand Key Performance Indicators to the leadership team

Qualifications: Education and/or Experience

Experience building and leading high performance in-house teams and agency network in a startup environment

Demonstrated ability to develop inspiring creative and messaging that achieves performance targets in the SaaS B2B segment

Strong business and financial acumen combined with demonstrated analytical skills

A creative eye and genuine curiosity for innovative opportunities to connect with our customers

Experience developing and evolving brand systems

Ability to collaborate well with others across the organization and drive alignment and thrive in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment
