Anivive is seeking an experienced copywriter and content strategist to help introduce our company—and our breakthrough therapeutics for pets—to consumers and veterinarians.
You will work on content across channels in a variety of formats. Projects vary from blog posts to webinars. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design and sales, to create content that aligns with business objectives, creative briefs, and Anivive style guides.
Anivive has a talented, 30-person team that includes veterinarians, computer scientists, software engineers, and creative designers. You will be part of the customer development and strategy team, reporting to our senior content strategist.
o We have a number of new strategic initiatives on the roadmap for 2021. We are looking for content maker that not only writes engaging copy but understands customer journeys and user experience—someone that will bring concepts and ideas to the table.
o You will help develop concepts and content strategy for a variety of projects, and then manage copy development until the deliverables are complete and approved.
o You will help develop creative briefs that capture key messages, requirements, and other criteria that our design team uses to create deliverables that align with content goals and business objectives.
o You will help shape our brand standards and editorial guidelines, and ensure deliverables consistently conform to those guidelines.
o You will work on content strategy and copy for a variety of deliverables in variety of formats: web pages, articles, videos, interactives, podcasts, webinars, and more.
o You have experience translating business and marketing objectives into on-strategy content.
o We are looking for someone with extensive experience developing engaging content for social platforms, digital marketing, and SEM campaigns.
o We are working on a consumer app, so looking for someone that understands UI and effective micro copy.
o We are looking for someone with experience developing content in a highly regulated industry, with an existing understanding of using footnotes and legal text to support claims.
o You will work directly with our CEO on presentations and concepts for investor meetings, board meetings, tradeshows, and more.
o You understand the unseen elements of effective content, from SEO and intelligent content tagging to responsive design.
o You will help define success metrics/KPIs and measurement plans, and use Google Analytics to track and enhance web page projects.
o You’ll write creative briefs, customer personas, and on-brand, on-target content.
Cross-functional collaboration and project management
o We have frequent team and cross-functional meetings to collaborate with virtual colleagues, both full-time and freelance.
o We work with outside agencies on marketing campaigns. You will help define content strategies, channel plans, and

Skills and experience required
● Must be a creative and strategic thinker
● Excellent communication skills
● Comfortable presenting concepts and creative work in team meetings
● Broad portfolio of samples, from microcopy to long form content, targeting B2B and B2c audiences
● The ability to juggle multiple projects effectively
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
● 5+ years as a copywriter, with experience defining content strategy in collaborative, deadline-oriented environment
● Experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals a plus
