Job Description

As a Content Writer, you'll work with the Senior Content Lead to grow the library of thought leadership content.

About Us

Platform engineering is revolutionizing how enterprises build and run their cloud-native setups. Humanitec is at the core of this revolution, enabling teams to build Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and reach true developer self-service. Through our community-led efforts (platformengineering.org, PlatformCon) and roster of enterprise customers, we are hitting an inflection point in the adoption of IDPs. We are looking to aggressively scale the team to meet the increasing demand.

As Content Writer you will work with our Sr. Content Lead to grow our library of thought leadership content. You will be responsible for creating thought leadership pieces, whitepapers, event recaps (conferences, webinars, meetups), published on our websites as well as on external publications. You’ll work in a remote, dynamic environment at the forefront of B2B SaaS marketing.

We pay a top 5% industry salary, and stocks and benefits are part of the package. Work is fully remote.


  • 2+ years in content marketing in the DevOps and cloud native industry
  • Experience creating whitepapers, thought leadership pieces, tech journalism articles.
  • Experience in ghostwriting for C-levels
  • Strong personal network of tech journalists, PR agencies and influencers in the DevOps and cloud native industries you bring with you is a plus
  • Extremely well organized and process-oriented
  • Deep understanding of the DevOps industry and tooling landscape
  • Very fluent of native level spoken & written English
  • Preferably based in North America or Europe


  • You will be responsible for creating whitepapers, thought leadership pieces, tech journalist pieces, etc. to increase awareness.
  • You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and Sr. Content Lead to scale our content engine and manage our team of external writers.
  • You will create visual diagrams, images, and infographics.
  • You will constantly screen the DevOps and cloud native landscape for upcoming and trending content.

Your first interview will be 30 minutes with our Talent Partner, so that we can learn more about you and you can find out more about the hiring process, role, and our company. This first interview is usually followed by 1-3 core interviews with the leadership team and your future colleagues/team members. These interviews are typically 30 to 60 minutes, fully remote, and without any take-home assignments. We will talk through your background, your approach to work, and dive into your knowledge & experience.

The final interview is with one of our founders to give you the chance to understand Humanitec even better.
