Zeller is looking for a freelance B2B content writer to help us create a wide variety of content for our expanding audience of Australian business owners.

Zeller is looking for a freelance B2B content writer to help us create a wide variety of content for our expanding audience of Australian business owners. You’ll need a general understanding of the payments industry, a passion for the small to medium-sized business community, and an ability to generate two to three high-quality blog posts on a weekly basis (approx. 1-2 days work).

About The Role

You will be working with our Content Marketing Manager to turn thorough briefs into 1,000 word blog posts. Ideally, you will be available to produce two blog posts per week (with some flexibility). A good understanding of SEO is important, however you won’t be required to carry out any keyword research. You will receive a full brief, complete with a blog outline and target keywords you will need to naturally weave into the content.

We're not looking to churn out generic articles. Sure, we want to go in-depth and be informative, but it’s important to engage the readers with your words. In any given week, you could be writing about building a community on Instagram, retail pricing strategies, business planning, the rise of the cashless economy, and more. Some of the concepts we tackle are complex, and part of the job is to communicate those concepts in a relatable, easy to understand way for a diverse audience of small business owners.

As we operate in the fintech space, our brand hinges on trust. We bake a trustworthy tone of voice into every piece of content we create. Part of that is ensuring that each piece of writing is free of typos, grammatical mistakes and inconsistencies — but you’ll also need a good understanding of source credibility, and be able to adapt your writing style accordingly.
