After quietly working away for over a year, we publicly released Zeller on 4 May 2021 – it’s everything business owners need to accept payments, manage their finances, and pay recipients, all in one box.
Zeller is looking for a freelance B2B content writer to help us create a wide variety of content for our expanding audience of Australian business owners. You’ll need a general understanding of the payments industry, a passion for the small to medium-sized business community, and an ability to generate high-quality blog posts on a weekly basis.
About The Role
You will be working with our Content Marketing Manager to turn thorough briefs into 800 to 1,000 word blog posts. Ideally, you will be available to produce two blog posts per week (with some flexibility). An understanding of SEO is important, however you won’t be required to carry out any keyword research. You will receive a full brief, complete with keywords and suggested headings.
We're not looking to churn out generic articles. Sure, we want to go in-depth and be informative, but it’s important to engage the readers with your words. In any given week, you could be writing about building a community on Instagram, retail pricing strategies, business planning, the rise of the cashless economy, and more.
Some of the concepts we tackle are complex, and part of the job is to communicate those concepts in a relatable, easy to understand way.
As we operate in the fintech space, our brand hinges on trust. We bake a trustworthy tone of voice into every piece of content we create. Part of that is ensuring that each piece of writing is free of typos, grammatical mistakes and inconsistencies — but you’ll also need an understanding of source credibility.
