Turtl is looking for a content writer to create marketing materials, including blogs, newsletters, and case studies, that generate interest and demand for Turtl software.

The Role

Turtl is looking for a content writer to create marketing materials, including blogs, newsletters, and case studies, that generate interest and demand for Turtl software. The role would best suit a creative, problem-solver with an interest in content, marketing strategies, and corporate communications. You will need to confidently champion Turtl’s tone of voice, style, and copy standards across the business, and collaborate with colleagues to develop content that clearly communicates what Turtl has to offer.


  • Come up with content ideas that align with agreed themes/issues
  • Conduct desk research and interviews to create source material
  • Write engaging content for Turtl’s blog, newsletters, case studies, and research reports
  • Incorporate our core messaging and persona interests into a mix of educational, conversational, and solutions-focused copy centered on a buyer’s challenges and needs
  • Provide guidance and advice on Turtl’s tone of voice and style
  • Use SEO knowledge to inform content creation and optimize for content discovery
  • Update a monthly content calendar and work with other members of the marketing team to drive engagement with content
  • Report on how content is impacting website visitors, newsletter signups, and reader engagement
  • Work closely with product and customer success teams to create new content and update existing materials
  • Suggest improvements to content topics, formats, and process

Who You Are

  • Strong copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Able to translate technical information into compelling written copy
  • Ability to research and learn about new/unfamiliar topics
  • Experience in writing copy for different B2B audiences and products
  • Good organizational skills, managing multiple written tasks, and delivering to a deadline
  • Interpersonal skills as you collaborate with colleagues and clients
  • Familiarity with content management systems and how content is presented and consumed online. For example, software like WordPress, HubSpot, Otter.ai
  • An understanding of how to write for different formats and media, adapting your writing style accordingly
  • Experience in social media and SEO
