Job Description

Saxony Partners is looking for a content writer to join the internal marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating written and video content that will be shared through company websites (SaxonyPartners.com and PereviewSoftware.com), social media sites, and through email marketing campaigns. outgoing mail.

Saxony Partners is seeking a Content Writer to join our in-house marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating written and video content that will be shared via our company websites (SaxonyPartners.com and PereviewSoftware.com), our social media sites, and through our outbound email marketing campaigns. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and works closely with the Creative Director.

Location: Dallas, TX (Galleria Headquarters) Temporary Remote + Flex office days

Major Responsibilities - What Will You Do?

Write engaging, well-reasoned, well-sourced, understandable content related to:

  • Our digital/data offerings (app dev, data strategy/management, reporting and analytics, AI and machine learning, Agile methodology, dev ops, UX/UI, and more)
  • The primary industries our company serves (commercial real estate services/management, asset management, mortgage companies, banks, private equity firms, insurance firms, technology/professional services)
  • Client stories and case studies

As Part of the Content Creation Effort, You Will

  • Conduct research on the topics above (and others as assigned), gathering data and information from reputable and timely sources
  • Interview subject matter experts and other key stakeholders
  • Follow our company’s branding and SEO guidelines
  • Stay abreast of industry-related news and emerging topics

Work with Creative Director to assist with internal teams’ content creation efforts – including, but not limited to, scripting social media videos and editing thought leadership submitted by SMEs

Work collaboratively with the marketing team to disseminate content to our intended audiences

Stay abreast of industry news through independent research, proactively pitch ideas for new content (rather than simply waiting to be assigned a project)

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Fast, but accurate
  • Excellent self-editing skills
  • Experience using social media both as a reporting and an engagement tool
  • A collaborative personality and a track record of working well with others, as well as working independently
  • True curiosity about the topics covered in this position
  • An aptitude to learn technical skills, such as content management systems and other tools

Requirements

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET THE JOB?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas of study: Journalism, technical writing, communications
  • 5+ years of experience writing content related to digital/technology services (data management and strategy, app dev, reporting and analytics, SaaS, and more)
  • Understanding and adherence to AP Style
  • Basic understanding and adherence to SEO guidelines
  • The ability to make complicated topics easily understandable
  • The ability to self-manage research and deadlines (we don’t micromanage)
  • Curiosity about data, technology, and the industries that Saxony Partners and Pereview Software serve
  • Motivation to collaborate and be a great teammate
  • Being comfortable accepting editorial changes, edits, and feedback constructively and without taking it personally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a technology/professional services firm with deep digital expertise
  • Experience working for a trade publication or other business/technology related web or print outlet
  • Experience with WordPress, Hubspot, Wrike and/or LinkedIn Publisher
  • Video shooting/production/editing experience
  • Having a positive social media footprint
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of SEO.
