Content Marketing Manager

Reporting to the EVP of Sales & Marketing, the Content Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, management, and execution of CoolSys’ content marketing strategy. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external resources to create engaging content, measure its performance across multiple digital platforms and amplify the content you build across our organization. You’ll build relationships with external writers, bloggers, and communities to help build valuable content in order to achieve customer engagement, top line financial growth, and brand awareness. You will support a growing sales organization with impactful sales & marketing tools that helps them increase customer growth and conversions. You will support content and communication needs for both external and internal audiences.

Responsibilities & Work To Be Done

  • Create engaging and informative content for CoolSys website(s), blogs, social media and automated marketing/email/newsletter platforms to drive traffic, leads and conversion
  • Oversee the entire content creation process, from developing an editorial calendar to producing content and measuring its effectiveness
  • Draft press releases that attract media attention
  • Produce digital/print/web content/material to assist the sales team in all phases of the sales cycle (e.g., sales sheets, brochures, etc.)
  • Compose white papers, case studies, articles, webinar content and PowerPoint presentations for thought leadership and demand generation
  • Develop video content/scripts for internally developed videos
  • Support content development needs for employee branding, recruiting, internal communications, etc. to support internal Human Resource needs
  • Research and analyze industry trends to optimize CoolSys content strategy
  • Execute Google Display Ads and provide monthly reporting
  • Support the development and management of an array of business websites
  • Run automated email marketing campaigns in coordination with social media to generate sales leads and effectively gain market share
  • Monitor ongoing efforts of agents and analyze results from digital advertising/marketing projects
  • Execute daily content calendar with the creation and promotion/publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation
  • Closely monitor social channels – engaging with and responding to customer questions and inquiries in a timely fashion and in a manner that supports/follows the company’s tone and voice
  • Edit and publish content for regular publication on the company blogs
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Look for opportunities to continuously improve best practices and processes
  • Compile weekly and monthly KPI reports for management showing results (ROI) whenever available


  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism
  • 3-5 years in a marketing content development role, preferably in a corporate, B2B environment  
  • Impeccable writing and editing skills
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Knowledge of HTML, CRM, Google Adwords, Google Display Network
  • SEO understanding and experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Experience using Social Media Posting & Scheduling Tools
  • Highly experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint)
  • Highly collaborative and able to work well with different types of people
  • Ability to be productive working remotely
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated and comfortable with rapid changes in direction
  • Able to travel domestically, as needed
  • Visual communicator awareness and appreciation and understanding of composition, color and general layout
  • Familiarity with marketing and CRM tools such as Salesforce, Pardot
  • Knowledge of HTML and WordPress
  • High level of experience and proven skills in copywriting and editing
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms
  • Experience creating content for marketing, web and a social audience
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing trends, best practices and methodologies
  • Editorial requirements include SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects while meeting established deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task at a high level in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or as an integral part of a team
