As a member of our CRO Team, you will learn about CRO strategies that will last you a lifetime, giving you an opportunity to continuously upgrade your skills as a writer by tackling unique projects that require creative solutions and attention to detail.
This is currently a part-time position, but our company is growing fast which means there is an excellent chance this position gets converted into a full-time opportunity in the near future.
What skills are needed?
We are looking for a charming content writer that loves writing and researching technical and complex concepts involving conversion optimization and presenting them in a way that is interesting, enticing, and actionable for the reader. Our goal is to find someone who can help us connect with our audience, earn the confidence, and charm them into understanding (and, perhaps even, be excited about) the importance of data, testing, analytics, amongst other “less sexy” aspects of marketing.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire content creation and editorial process at ConversionAdvocates, creating content for our blog, external publications, our email list, as well as bite-size social media posts that educate, entertain and build a relationship with our target audience online.
- Generate an ongoing content strategy and editorial calendar
- Create well researched and written content that is relevant, engaging, and actionable for our target audience.
- Review our existing content to see what can be reused. Keeping an inventory of what’s been done.
- Research to come up with new content ideas that will engage our readers and customers.
- Help us find our voice and ton for the brand.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to write and research about technical marketing concepts involving data, analytics, and optimization
- English is your first language or you are bilingual
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Produce error-free content.
- You have an understanding of SEO principles and know how to apply them into your work
- You can accept constructive criticism
- Having knowledge about Conversion Rate Optimization can definitely be a plus.
Team. As a content writer on our CRO Team, you will work with our copywriter, strategist and manager. You will be responsible for communicating engaging content to our audience and customers with the voice of our brand. This is an important aspect of your job that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Discipline. You won’t have someone watching over your shoulder on a day-to-day basis to make sure the work is getting done. We are strong believers in trust and autonomy. We must be confident that you will deliver the work in time even if you have a poor internet connection on your favorite beach spot or if your beer has spilt on your laptop when reaching out for your nachos.
Communication. Communication between the team members is key for a successful project and overall working relationship. You’ll be working with CRO strategists, writers and designers so if you have a solution to a problem, we’ll be happy to hear what you have for us!

We’re not looking to put you in an office and waste your time in traffic. Our entire team is remote so, apart from calls, and meeting us in person every now and then, you’re free to live anywhere in the world that has a good wifi connection.
