Your typical day-to-day will involve diving deep into industry research, interviewing experts and understanding what makes consumers tick. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to deliver highly-engaging content that draws in the right audience and inspires readers to take action.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a sizable editorial calendar
- Write multiple pieces of content per week
- Make complex topics easy to understand
- Identify consumers’ needs and recommend new topics
- Interview industry experts and incorporate their advice in articles
- Collaborate with editors to ensure content meets editorial standards
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
- Monitor performance and develop strategies to improve underperforming content
Requirements
- BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field or equivalent experience
- Proven work experience as a content creator, copywriter or similar role
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong understanding of AP style
- Portfolio of published articles
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems
- An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
- Familiarity with SEO
- Time-management skills
- Experience with G Suite, Google AdWords, Google Analytics and Photoshop is a plus
