Job Description

Working in the marketing team, you will be responsible for all marketing and product communication with the primary customer, the home seller.

The Role

Our Content Manager will be the guardian for the whole customer communications journey. With a deep understanding of home sellers and the Nested product, you will be the driving force behind planning and executing content at every step; writing copy and creating content to entice, engage, convert and create promoters of the brand.

A big part of the marketing challenge at Nested is how to stand out among a field of old-fashioned agents, and our tone of voice is vital in creating that distinction. We aim to sound different in all that we do - you will be responsible for owning that tone, from poking fun in our outdoor advertising to get us noticed, through to serious, useful guidance in an email at the business-end of a home sale.

What You’ll Get Up To

Working in the marketing team, you’ll be responsible for all marketing & product communication with our primary customer, the home seller. You will spend time getting to know our sellers to understand what makes them tick while also gaining a deep understanding of the product, so you can elegantly articulate our key benefits in various contexts.

The creative needs for the business are varied. On any given day, you might be writing our weekly email newsletter, crafting website landing pages, creating sales collateral, coming up with facebook ads or thinking up out-of-home creative. And when copy just won’t cut it, you will be responsible for organising agencies and freelancers to provide video, animation, photography or anything that you think will help to build our customer base.

You will engage with various teams to support and drive the business forward; from the product team to help craft copy for our amazing home selling app, to our sales team, equipping them with collateral to get sellers through the funnel. At a higher level, you will work with the senior team to refine and nurture our market positioning, key messages and benefits, making sure they flow across the customer comms journey.

Who We're Looking For

First and foremost, you will be an excellent writer, able to turn your hands to different styles, from punchy ad copy, through to insightful, well-researched blog posts. You get excited about pushing the boundaries by creating fun, engaging copy, but can also demonstrate how each bit of copy adds value to the business.

You will be an ideas person, coming up with creative ways to articulate what “the modern estate agent” is all about. Working with designers both in-house and freelance, you will understand how all the elements of a creative idea come together to form one cohesive message.

Understanding our customer is essential to everything we do here at Nested, so you will have a track record of getting to know customers and their motivations, so you deliver the right message at the right time.

Finally, as you might tell, there are a lot of balls in the air. So you should be organised and able to ruthlessly prioritise tasks that have the biggest impact so you can focus on producing high quality, high-frequency copy and creative.
